[Maybank AM, Malaysia] Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera (AHB) - 7th Asset Injection

Maybank Asset Management, as the Fund Manager of Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera (“AHB” or “the Fund”), wishes to announce that on 08 August 2017, Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad (“PHB”), as the Sponsor of the Fund, has entered into an agreement to sell the beneficial interest in Block H Empire City and Empire Shopping Gallery (“Assets”) to AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad (“ART”), as the Trustee of the Fund, for a consideration of RM550 million payable via issuance of new AHB units.

Pursuant to the Lease Agreement dated 08 August 2017 entered into between PHB and ART, ART leases the Assets to PHB at a lease rental of RM27.5 per annum for a 10-year lease term commencing from 15 September 2017.

Block H Empire City is an 18-storey office building located at Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Empire Shopping Gallery is a 5-storey retail podium with 4 basement level car park located within a mixed commercial development known as Empire Subang located at Jalan SS16/1, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
