[Maybank AM, Malaysia] Appointment of Chief Executive Officer, Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd

Maybank Asset Management (MAM) Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce the appointment of Ahmed Muzni Mohamed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MAM Sdn Bhd effective 1 April 2022.

He reports to the CEO, Maybank Asset Management Group (MAMG).

Muzni has over 28 years of working experience in financial and investment analysis of asset management, in both public funds and private equity investments, and investment banking. He has held key positions as Managing Director and CEO at Pelaburan Johor Berhad, Executive Vice President of Capital Markets in Siraj Capital and was the CEO of Anfaal Capital Company in Jeddah, prior to joining Maybank Islamic Asset Management (MIAM) as CEO in 2019.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the asset management business in senior roles, Muzni is well-positioned to lead MAM to greater heights. In his new role, Muzni will provide his brand of inspirational leadership, experience and strategic vision to grow MAM’s overall business and profitability.

Muzni holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Management from Hitotsubashi University, Japan.
